Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Sympy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Sasa Technologies.

Description of Service

Sympy is an AI companion app providing:

• Text-based AI chat with Nigerian cultural context and Pidgin support
• Real-time AI voice calls (5 minutes free per day)
• Image analysis via OpenAI vision
• Internet search integration for real-time information
• Personalised AI memory across sessions

User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Sympy to:

• Generate or share illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to bypass the AI's safety guidelines
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the free tier
• Reverse engineer or hack the service
• Use the service for commercial purposes without written consent

Free Tier & Daily Limits

The free tier includes 5 minutes of voice call time per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Text chat and image analysis are unlimited subject to fair use.

Attempting to circumvent daily limits — including creating multiple accounts or manipulating device identifiers — is a violation of these Terms.

AI-Generated Content

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI responses. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

Intellectual Property

Sympy, including Buddy and Missy's personalities, branding, design, and code, is owned by Sasa Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence for personal use only.

Privacy

Your use of Sympy is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SYMPY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.

Limitation of Liability

SASA TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SYMPY. Our total liability shall not exceed what you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may request account deletion by emailing us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
