Sympy is your Nigerian AI bestie — a conversational AI companion that speaks your language, understands Pidgin, remembers your name and preferences, and can chat by text, analyse images, or call you for real-time voice conversations.
On the home screen, choose your companion. Buddy is your Nigerian guy — sharp, warm, and funny. Missy is your Nigerian girl — confident, smart, and witty. You also pick a vibe: Chaotic, Savage, Therapist, or Flirty.
Yes! Sympy fully speaks and understands Nigerian Pidgin. Just say "I prefer Pidgin" or start typing in Pidgin and it will match your language. It also knows hundreds of Nigerian slangs — "sapa", "e choke", "you don fuckup", "chop breakfast", "shege pro max", and more.
The free tier includes 5 minutes of voice call time per day. This resets at midnight UTC every day. You can see your remaining time on your Profile page. We're working on premium plans with more call time.
Your 5 minutes resets at midnight UTC every day. For Nigeria (WAT, UTC+1), that's 1:00 AM your local time. Your Profile page shows exactly how much time is left and when it resets.
Only the time you were actually connected is counted. If the call drops unexpectedly, the app saves your usage and reports it on your next session. Contact support if you believe time was incorrectly deducted.
Your name is saved to your account. If it keeps asking, try logging out and back in to refresh your account connection. Once the AI learns your name from any chat or call, it will remember it going forward.
Yes. Sympy builds a memory of your name, language preference, topics discussed, and your general vibe. Memory persists for 30 days. You'll see a "Last chat" or "Last call" summary banner at the top of the chat screen when you return.
Yes. Just say "call me [new name]" or "my name is [name]" at any point and the AI will update your name going forward. For example: "Actually, my name is Tunde."
Yes. Ask about dollar rates, fuel prices, news, weather, sports scores — Sympy searches online and responds with real-time Nigerian context. Try: "wetin be dollar rate today?" or "what's happening in Nigeria?"
Tap the camera icon, pick or take a photo, optionally add a caption, then send. Sympy will describe what it sees, read text in the image, identify products, or answer your specific question. Images are not stored after processing.
Email support@sympyapp.com with your registered email and request "Account Deletion." We'll permanently delete your account and all data within 30 days.
No. We never sell your data. Conversations are processed by OpenAI to generate responses, but we don't share your data with third parties for advertising. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
