Plain English: Sympy stores your name, language preference, and conversation history so the AI remembers you. We use OpenAI for responses and Firebase for authentication. We never sell your data.

Account info: Your name and email via Firebase Authentication.
Conversation data: Messages, images you share, and AI responses.
Voice data: Speech processed in real time via LiveKit and OpenAI STT. Raw audio is never stored.
Device identifier: A stable ID tied to your Firebase account, used for daily call limits.
Mood & streak data: Emotional tone and daily usage streaks for personalisation.

Data Storage & Security
Conversation history is stored in Redis with a 30-day retention period. After 30 days of inactivity, your session data is automatically deleted.
Security measures include HTTPS/WSS encryption, API key authentication, Firebase Authentication, and no storage of raw audio recordings.

AI Conversations & Memory
Sympy is powered by OpenAI's GPT-4o models. Messages are transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details.
Your conversation history helps the AI remember your preferences and generate summaries. Images sent during chat are processed by GPT-4o vision and are not stored after processing.
Sympy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe your child has used the service, contact us and we will delete their data immediately.
